FAQ

Motorcycle Towing Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do you store motorcycles/scooters?
A: If storage is necessary, we provide indoor / outdoor motorcycle storage at our facility on the Westside of Jacksonville

Q: When are you open?
A: We are available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.

Q: Can you tow specialty bikes (Choppers / Trikes / Can-Ams)?
A: Yes. We tow Choppers, Trikes, and Can-Ams that are up to 10’ long on the lift, anything longer like the Polaris Slingshot, we have to tow it on our 6×12 hydraulic trailer.

Q: Can I call you directly instead of calling my roadside assistance company?
A: We can do a “direct call” in most cases, but some roadside assistance companies need you to call them first and request us by name. Feel free to contact us first anyway. In some cases we can do the footwork for you.

Q: What type of equipment do you use?
A: Our trucks have been equipped with the hydraulic Amerideck Loading System (ALS) or winched TK Loader Motorcycle Lift for reliability and durability.

Q: Can you tow wrecked bikes?
A: Yes. As long as both wheels roll freely, it doesn’t matter what kind of damage has been done to the bike. Even if only one wheel rolls freely, give us a call. We can handle most motorcycle wrecks.

Q: Can you tow bikes with locked steering?
A: Yes, at an additional charge. Please call for details.

Q: Do you tow for any dealers?
A: We have 24 hour towing services for Adamec Harley Davidson, Jax Powersports, Cycles of Jacksonville, Purcell’s, Chopper City, BMW of Jacksonville. We provide towing services for other dealers and repair shops and outside of our regular service area as well.

Q: What roadside assistance companies do you tow for?
A: We are a preferred service provider for HOG (Harley Owners Group), Road America, Progressive, Cross Country, Allstate, Agero, MTS (Motorcycle Towing Service) for Ducati, and many others. If there is ever any question about who they send out for your motorcycle, you can always request us by name, state law allows you to do that.

Q: I have a buddy who has a pick up that I can put my bike on the back and transport it. What’s the difference in what you have as opposed to my buddy’s truck?
A: Most good friends help other friends in need, and it sounds like you have a good buddy handy. I’m sure he/she will help you in your time of need at 2:30 AM, on a Sunday morning, after the big game. We have found however, in these situations where you rely on friends, it often strains the relationship if he/she doesn’t come through for you in a crunch. Also, we have found that you will wait an average three hours longer for your friend to get his pick up and/or a trailer to assist you, as opposed to having a professional towing service come out. There is also a good possibility he won’t have the right straps to secure your bike to his vehicle. Remember the maxim, “You get what you paid for…” We have towed thousands of motorcycles and have the right equipment for your bike—from a Harley to a Suzuki.

Q: How can I make an appointment to have my bike towed?
A: All you have to do is send basic information regarding the motorcycle or scooter to alloutcycletowing@gmail.com. Please include details such as year, make, and model; where your bike is located (full address with zip code please); and where you want it to go. You will receive a quote within minutes. If your motorcycle/scooter is located within 10 miles of one of our “Preferred Dealers”, you may be entitled to special discounts on towing. Please email us for details.
